Moultrie Tech Foundation Awards
Summer Book Scholarships

The Moultrie Technical College Foundation, Inc. recently awarded 14 students with scholarships to help cover their Summer Quarter 2010 class books and supplies through the MTC Bookstores in Moultrie, Tifton and Ashburn. Book scholarships are provided through the college’s internal fundraising campaign in which MTC faculty and staff members from Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties donate a portion of their monthly salaries to help students and to meet other pressing needs of the college not covered through state-allocated funds. This quarter’s scholarship recipients are, from the MTC Moultrie campus, Kendra Arnold, Belinda Bivins, Eddie Brown, Michelle Coronado, Belinda Everett, Keri Gardner, Amanda Meads, Angela Murphy, Inez Taylor and Anthony Vandever; from the MTC Tifton campus, Cynthia Bennett, Sheila Hogan and Carla Ugalde; and from the MTC Turner County campus, Jamese Patterson.
