Worth County GED Graduation

Moultrie Technical College’s Adult Education program celebrated its summer and fall quarter graduating classes of 2009 at a semi-annual Commencement ceremony held Wednesday, December 16, at the MTC Veterans Parkway Campus in Moultrie.  The college recognized almost 140 GED program graduates from the college's four-county service area of Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth.  Many of those GED graduates were from the college’s Sylvester-Worth County Adult Literacy Center in downtown Sylvester.  Pictured, left to right, are GED graduates Zella Sapp and Rosetta Farley, MTC Adult Education instructor Kim Oliver, MTC Executive Director of Adult Education Liz Keith, graduate Joyce Bennett, MTC Adult Education instructor Mattie Grant, and graduates Carolyn Butler and Connie Avery.
