See Human Body Up-close

Students from Moultrie Technical College’s Medical Surgical Nursing class in the Practical Nursing program on the college’s Moultrie campus attended the “Bodies Exhibit” at Atlantic Station in Atlanta on November 4. The exhibit provides an intimate and informative view into the human body and its skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, endocrine and circulatory systems. There are over 200 actual human bodies and specimens that have been donated, dissected and preserved for display at the exhibit. MTC Practical Nursing instructor Robin Kern, pictured third from the left, said of the field trip and students, “They enjoyed seeing the anatomy up close, and it really helped to put the human body into perspective for each one of them.”
