Second MTC Classic Race Tops First

Saturday’s Moultrie Technical College Foundation 2nd Annual MTC Classic Road Race almost doubled its number of runners and walkers from 90 in 2009 to more than 150 this year. With the goal of raising funds for student scholarships and instructional equipment for the College in Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties, the MTC Classic Road Race – Education at a Fast Pace - included 5K and 10K races and a 1-Mile Fun Run and Walk. The race began and ended at the College’s Veterans Parkway Campus in Moultrie. Final verified race results in all contest and age categories will be released at a later date.
