Moultrie Technical College’s Moultrie Campus chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), a student organization designed to promote business and leadership skills, traveled to Columbus Technical College to compete in the PBL South District Conference on February 19. Six students participated in multiple competitive events. Stephen Ferrer placed second in networking concepts while Eddie Brown also took second in impromptu speaking. Third place finishers were Luke Goodroe in the help desk competition and Sheila Weber and Kay Weathers in sales presentation. Because any student placing in first or second in their competitive events are eligible to travel to the state PBL competition in April, both Brown and Ferrer will represent MTC there.
