Sixth grade art student Cassidy Weaver of Willie J. Williams Middle School in Moultrie put her creativity to work for the Moultrie Technical College Radiologic Technology program recently by designing a t-shirt to promote the program which teaches medical imaging and radiation therapy techniques. Weaver’s artwork was chosen as the winning design out of about 40 submitted pieces from other WJWMS students, all using the theme “It’s What’s INSIDE That Counts!”. She won an MTC prize bag full of school and art supplies and local business gift certificates. Pictured holding the t-shirt with Weaver is MTC Radiologic Technology program instructor Alfred Jones, along with MTC Clinical Coordinator Buffie Spencer, third from the right, and WJWMS art teacher Alicia Montgomery, far right. MTC Rad Tech students, donning Weaver’s design, joined in the presentation of the prizes and the unveiling of the finished t-shirt.
