Moultrie Tech Students Attend Sanderson Super Chicken Road Show

MTC Students Attend Sanderson Farms Chicken Road Show

Moultrie Technical College (MTC) President Tina Anderson, along with 11 MTC students and four faculty members, took part in the Sanderson Farms Super Chicken Road Show on February 3 and 4. The Super Chicken Road Show is a Sanderson-sponsored program that invites colleges from Georgia and North Florida to participate in a recruiting event for summer internship positions.  Because of the skills taught in MTC’s Automotive Technology, Auto Collision and Industrial Systems Technology programs, Moultrie Tech was invited to learn about upcoming career opportunities in Sanderson’s trucking and industrial systems departments.  MTC students attended an evening reception, heard from corporate directors and met individually with company managers. They also toured the Adel plant and hatchery and the Moultrie Processing facility. MTC Career Services Director Wendi Tostenson attended with the students and instructors.  Pictured at Sanderson Farms, from left to right, are students Xavier Armijo, Charles Carper, Luke Moxley and Donald Smith, MTC Industrial Systems Technology instructors Ubaldo Gonzalez and George Griffin, and students Eli Kirkland and Mark Barton.
