MTC Celebrates Its Military Veterans

Moultrie Technical College honored military Veterans from its faculty, staff and student body on Thursday, November 11, with a luncheon at the Veterans Parkway Campus in Moultrie. The color guard from Colquitt County High School’s Jr. ROTC program and MTC graduate and U.S. Army Veteran Phillip Viohl were invited into join in the celebration. Viohl spoke to the audience on helping this current generation to remember what it means to be a Veteran. MTC Veterans Affairs representative Sondra Crawford closed the ceremony by thanking all the Veterans and reminding the attendees of the sacrifices they had made for our country’s freedom.
