Southwest GA Bank Makes Fourth $15,000 Gift to MTC Allied Health Building

Moultrie Technical College (MTC) President Tina Anderson, right, received a $15,000 check on behalf of the MTC Foundation on September 23, making this the fourth gift in four years from Southwest Georgia Bank (SGB). SGB Senior Vice President Sonny Murphy presented the donation, which is earmarked for supporting the programs in MTC’s new Allied Health building. Construction is scheduled for completion in late 2012 on MTC’s Veterans Parkway campus in Moultrie. The check was the final installment of a $60,000 commitment from the bank over four years. DeWitt Drew, president and chief executive officer of SGB, made the initial announcement in November 2008 at Moultrie Tech. The bank has continued to honor the College with a breakfast for faculty and staff each year since 2008.
