Sanderson Farms Super Chicken Road Show Plays Host to Moultrie Tech Students

Eleven Moultrie Technical College (MTC) students and several faculty and staff members from the College’s Moultrie and Tifton campuses took part in the Sanderson Farms Super Chicken Road Show in March. The Sanderson-sponsored event invites colleges from Georgia and North Florida to participate in a recruiting experience for summer internship positions. Moultrie Tech was invited to attend the Road Show due to the trades taught in Automotive Technology, Auto Collision and Industrial Systems Technology programs. The event was kicked off with a social and dinner hosted by Moultrie Tech where students learned about the history, company culture and opportunities at Sanderson Farms. MTC students, faculty and staff toured the Moultrie processing plant and the Adel production plant and hatchery. MTC staffers pictured with the students are Automotive Technology instructor Lynn Tanner, Career Services Specialist Bridgett Adams, Career Services Assistant Erica Stallings and Industrial Systems Technology instructor Ubaldo Gonzales.
