Moultrie Technical College [MTC] garnered a silver honor in this year’s National Council of Marketing & Public Relations [NCMPR] District 2 Medallion Awards in the college promotional video category. Winners were announced at the NCMPR fall district conference in Atlanta on October 18. The annual awards recognize outstanding achievement in communications at community and technical colleges in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and The Bahamas.  It is the only regional competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and PR professionals at two-year colleges.  NCMPR connects marketing and PR professionals at community and technical colleges, supports their professional growth, and has more than 1,550 members from more than 650 colleges across the United States, Canada and other countries. MTC’s silver award, received in creative partnership with Spark Media Company in Macon, recognized the school’s “Change Is Coming” quarter-to-semester conversion video written and produced to help students through the Fall 2011 transition.  It can be viewed on Moultrie Tech’s website, YouTube channel and Facebook page.
