MTC Tifton PBL Students Raise Funds and Awareness for Infant Health

PBL Tifton Students Raise Funds

Students from Moultrie Technical College’s Tifton Campus Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) chapter hosted a bake sale to benefit March of Dimes recently. The group raised over $100 toward a $1000 goal as well as created community awareness of the needs of March of Dimes. The mission of March of Dimes is to help expectant mothers have full-term pregnancies and to research the problems that threaten the health of babies. “We were able to work together as an organization and school to raise money for March of Dimes,” said Stephanie Bentley, president of the Tifton PBL chapter. “It was a very rewarding experience for our chapter.” Members of the community interested in contributing to March of Dimes may visit www.marchforbabies.org/team/t1765436.
