Winter Book Scholarships

The Moultrie Technical College Foundation, Inc. recently awarded ten students with scholarships to help cover their Winter Quarter 2009 class books and supplies through the MTC Bookstores in Moultrie and Tifton. Book scholarships are provided through the college’s internal fundraising campaign in which MTC faculty and staff members from Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties donate a portion of their monthly salaries to help students and to meet other pressing needs of the college not covered through state-allocated funds. This quarter’s scholarship recipients are, from the MTC Moultrie campus, Leslie Allman, Dana DuGuid, Carrie Moody, Elizabeth Stinebaugh and Anthony Thomas; from the MTC Tifton campus, Shalene Brown, Rebecca Dickey, Wendy Klug and Sandra Prewitt; and from the MTC Turner County campus, Aidrienne Wilson.
