Online students apply for courses using the same
procedure as on campus students.
Contact an admissions specialist at 229-891-7000
to receive an application
and financial aid packet. Please be sure to select
"Online" or "GVTC" as the
desired campus.

What
are the admission requirements?
Anyone, 16 years of age or older, can take courses
through Moultrie Technical College and other participating
GVTC institutions. Some programs may have specific
program requirements for admission. Please check
the our online catalog or online Academic Programs
page for specific requirements.

do I register for online courses?
After you have completed and submitted the paperwork
for admissions and financial aid, contact the
advisor for your online
program of study who will assist you in the registration
process.

Is
financial aid available?
The HOPE grant covers online courses; however,
Pell grant recipients contact hours will be reduced
when taking online classes. Contact a financial
aid representative for more information.

Will
I have to attend classes on campus?
You will not have to attend a class on campus, but you will have at least one proctored exam. Please click here for more information on proctoring.

do I get books?
Textbooks may be ordered by contacting the MTC
bookstore at 229.217.4151 or via e-mail moultriebk@moultrietech.edu
Please check the “Book Information”
web page for the course textbook required.

How
do I get my username and password?
Your login and password will begin with 37 (to identify the school number), underscore ( _ ) and then your nine digit student ID number.
Example:
USERNAME: 37_STUDENTIDNUMBER
PASSWORD: 37_STUDENTIDNUMBER
All students will have a new login and password for Blackboard 7. If you are a MTC student and you do not know your student ID number, please contact the Registrar's office. If you are a transient student, please contact your instructor for the online class that you registered for, or the online staff at online@moultrietech.edu.

If you have not heard from your online instructor
by the first day of class, please contact the

Can
I take online classes from other GVTC institutions?
Yes. Students enrolled in other technical colleges
in Georgia may apply for transient status through
GVTC.
You will need to request a Transient Agreement
Letter from your home college’s Student
Services Office to be completed and sent to the
host college.
