Software Requirements
MICROSOFT OFFICE 2010 WILL BE REQUIRED FOR SOME ONLINE COURSES.
- Minimum Software Requirements
- To successfully complete your distance education courses, your computer MUST meet the following minimum requirements:
- Internet Explorer 8 or Mozilla Firefox
- Operating System - Windows 98 or later
- Microsoft Word 98 or later (Microsoft Works is NOT acceptable) -* some online courses require Microsoft Office 2010
On ANGEL's login home page, a "System Check" area with several required plugins are listed. ALL of these plugins MUST be checked in green in order for your online course to work properly. If anything listed has a red "x" mark, then go to the "Help and Resources" nugget located on the ANGEL login web page and click on "Support & FAQs" and then click on Computer Needs & Requirements and download the free version of the plugin that you need.
NOTE - *Microsoft Office 2010 is REQUIRED for Business Administrative Technology (BUSN) courses, CIST courses, and COMP 1000. All necessary software should be installed before class begins. Contact your instructor for more information.
